Spielberg, the master creator, always manages to provide to the audience the right kind of stuff, which allows them the chance to interact with history in unambiguous manner. He can be rightly compared with Rushdie who like him comes out with heart-on-the sleeve confessions without sounding equivocal.
What places Spielberg above his contemporaries is the fact that he never showcase his movies in ideological moorings but loves to project the plots with value-added facts. Munich appeared at a time when not only the Western world but even the Asian nations reeled under Islamic extremism with people, in sync with their over-charged psyche, bordering on fear. Schindler’s list made the viewers intercept the Nazi’s atrocities in their true perspective.

I am sure his movies has the capacity to allow us to view present ills in a better perspective.
