The changing patterns of dating prove that love has now become a mechanical and cosmetic affair.Gone are the days when soulful sentiments were exchanged in an atmosphere that radiated an aura of trust .Today it seems that chemistry of love has got confined to domain of technological incarnations.No wonder why dating couples find each other boring and dull after some time just the way they feel for their gadgets, being governed by ‘use and throw’ syndrome.Surely, speed-dating has no value in absence of healthy speed-breakers.

Extremely necessary these days when people lead such busy lives. Then there is the failed relationship factor too where more and more people wary and try not to repeat the mistake of putting a lot of emotional investment that goes into a proper courtship. Also, the fear of rejection is not there. Speed dating is good.

Speed dating has actually been very successful in metros and other cities in India. I don't think anything wrong in speed dating. It is just a sad reflection of the degradation of our social fabric due to stress, relationships etc. This is a fine thing as long as it works.
