ROMANCING WITH ROMANCE

ARVIND K.PANDEY

The present-age researchers have linked romance to factors like chemical and biological reactions besides smell and other things acting as catalysts . However , in my eyes , such findings are of lesser value since a subtle and mysterious thing like love cannot be by-product of systematic chain of physical and chemical happenings . Romance is more associated with dedication and sincerity towards one’s partner . In other words , it’s amalgam of refined human values , having little association with grosser phenemenons of world . Let’s not kill the beauty of romance by linking it with scientific perceptions . It’s another thing that romance in our times has fallen prey to selfishness , greed and ego related conflicts . Probably , this is why we find romantic creatures changing partners just the way one changes clothes . Needless to state , romancing with romance is an expensive affair in the modern age .

Haha....I never liked these researchers, who bring up senseless and contradicting reports each day. Come-on, there are other things in the world to research on. Why do they do such kind of research work if they can’t be sure of the results.

Things like Love, romance, etc. can’t be explained. When will these researchers understand.

Dear Kumar ,

Well said !! Even I am unable to rationalize the outcome of so many researches taking place at Harvard ond other universities . One day they say that ” coffee is good for health ” . But next day you come to hear that it’s bad for heart !! .Certainly , I am against the role of researchers in matters that lie beyond the domain of science like whether God exists or not .

But as you know world is a mad-mad place ,we cannot prevent us from acknowledging such strange beliefs -outcome of scietific supersition !!

Love, romance, etc. I have tried to define and explain these terms to me a no. of times but whenever I near any sort of conclusion, every implication as well as my comprehension of these terms become so very meaningless to me that I stop exercising still further. Anyways, keep on drawing conclusion if there is any, and plz do inform me as soon as you catch hold of any.

Dear Desh ,

Many thanks for your comment . Yes , what’s the point in tracing the logic governing subtle aspects of life . Life is so complex that one can never envelope it in certain frame of mind , certain set of rules . But our scientists are trying their level best to take the place of Lord and prcisely this is why we are hearing about srange revelations in matters beyond the ambit of science ..

Anyway , I come to remember the formula coined by one of our popular lyricists Neeraj : Shokhiyoen Mein Ghola Jayein Phooloen Ka Shawab ,Aur Usmein Miliayein Jayein Thodi Se Sharrab .........Hoga Jo Nasha Jo Taiyaar Wo Pyaar Hai ..”

Don’t you agree with it ?

Oh yaaa...I forgot to add that line...

”Life is complex”. These three words I believe can be used in any discussion as the opening line. LOL.

If love had been so easily definable, each one would have been a master of it. But the fact remains that love knows no bounds and therefore to jump up to any conclusion would be a digression from its very essence. Here goes another:

Ye pyaar kya hai kisi ne na jaana.

Dear Desh

Your comment stands at par with the dilemma exhibited in the famous Khamoshi song : Pyar Ko Pyart Hi Rahnein Do Koi Naam Na Do ...Humnein Dekhi Hai In Ankhoen Ki Mehkati Khusboo.

I totally agree with your view . Love cannot be measured in gross intellectual assessment .Would U please convey this to our present-age scientists ,whose penchant for experimentation knows no limits !!!!
