Lord Shiva is hailed as ‘Ardhnareeshwara’ in India. It seems that present age is ripe for fullest manifestation of this eternal truth, the way male bastions are being encroached upon by the fair sex.Earlier women’s liberalization movement compelled men to create space for them in their cherished arenas. Now by giving way to their ‘likes and dislikes’ associated with spheres long held to be the domains of females, they have given them the green signal to dominate their world.

In other words, the female charm has taken them in their grip, making the globe virtually fall at their feet. However, instead of being dictated by secondary attributes of the better sex, the world would be a better place to live in if we make way for qualities which truly encircle women - compassion and patience.

The globe will be devoid of so many ills including the menace of terrorism only if men allow womanly traits to shape their vision. In my eyes, this is a better way to woo them as it leads to development of everlasting bond between them. On the other hand, by reshaping mere ‘looks’ one gains temporary pleasure, which not only withers with time but also let the cash go down the drain.
