Globalizing Western Flaws

Glossing over the contradictions which prevail in the Western World , it’s clear that laws of commerce need to be replaced by the perceptions aiming at better relationship between human beings .Instead of ‘ earning the right to re-make the world ‘ , the Western countries should first imbibe the adage that ‘ charity begins at home ‘. Recently , the Indian movie maker Rakesh Sharma , the creator of award -winning movie Final Solution , became victim of racial discrimination in New York .Such incidents are common in Western countries.

Globalizing Western Flaws

Why aren’t the Western countries more concerned about ills prevalent in their nation rather than encroaching upon the integrity of the smaller nations on flimsy grounds ? It’s strange but true that Western world has successfully globalized its unethical means , its madness hovering around skin -oriented desires .Probably , this is why Indian girls are aching to have fair skin , leading to a boom in sale of cosmetic products . Sadly , the fate of the girl with dark complexion is to keep shunting between one inferiority complex to another .Her talent in the whole process become the object of raw deal .

Why blame everything on Westernization??
From time immemorial women use all method to enhance their beauty and complexion.
I don’t think all are trying to become Goris!

Are we flawless?

@Maya

Who turned the instinct to appear beautiful into an industry?
We might have always been interested in looking fair but ”skin show” was not the ultimate goal.Thanks to the onslaught of fashion shows, there is sea of ”Miss Mohalla” or Miss X (What’s in a name?)everywhere in India?

Borrowing a line from a song in movie Fashion : Fashion Ka Hai Ye Jlawa..Jismoen Ka Hai Ye Jalwa”

The sad thing is that an innocent desire to appear beautiful has been successfully, by the Western agents, into an industry or, for that matter, into ”Jismoen Ka Jalwa..”

The sad thing is that an innocent desire to appear beautiful has been successfully turned, by the Western agents,into an industry or, for that matter, turned into ”Jismoen Ka Jalwa”.
