An affront to human dignity notwithstanding it’s also an attempt on part of vast sea of humanity to ensure their survival in a world marred by lack of opportunities. In retrospect, nature of task can’t be the ideal parameter to estimate’s one worth.Going by this logic sex-workers should emerge as blot on the face of humanity when ,viewing from a different perspective, it’s simply just one of the means to ensure two sqare meals. There is no point in shedding crocodile tears without ensuring them better means of survival. One harps about child-exploitation in factories, feels distressed over pathetic condition of bar girls and now bucket of tears for these rickshaw pullers but fail all the time to rehabilitate them in sound way.Surely, there is need to ensure a dignified life style for underprivilged but such critical issues ,hovering around their bread and butter, need to be intercepted with caution. Rising above stereotypical notions could be the first step in its attainment.
